ABUSHI UNVEILS THE CABRIO-G: AN ULTRA-LUXURY FOUR-DOOR G-CLASS CONVERTIBLE SUV

The Cabrio-G is an ultra-luxury open-air SUV, hand-built and re-engineered by Abushi, a family-led automotive design house based in New York City. More than a vehicle, it redefines the G-Class as a statement of heritage, engineering, and individuality.

Built on the 2025/26 W465 Mercedes-AMG G63, the Cabrio-G merges authentic 4×4 capability with open-air freedom and coach-built craftsmanship. Each vehicle is handcrafted in the USA, individually commissioned, and built to its owner’s specification through Abushi’s private commissioning program.

It began with a vision: to create a vehicle that embodied every hallmark of modern luxury while reimagining what an SUV could be—the commanding presence of a four-door design, the freedom of open-air driving, the refinement of handcrafted interiors, the capability of a true 4×4, and the innovation of a fully powered soft-top convertible. Versatile in every setting, from city streets and coastal drives to rugged terrain, the Cabrio-G brings these qualities together in a way never before offered in a four-door luxury SUV.

DESIGN & EXTERIOR.

The Cabrio-G transforms the legendary G-Class into a fully open-air vehicle unlike any other. A re-engineered roof structure with an integrated roll bar supports a fully powered soft-top system engineered for effortless operation. With the press of a button, the roof opens or closes in seconds, delivering a true open-air driving experience.

Every Cabrio-G features Abushi’s signature exterior design and may be further personalized through a curated selection of factory-developed options, including the available Exterior Carbon Fiber Package. Abushi’s Signature Painting Program offers clients complete creative freedom with exclusive paint finishes crafted and hand-applied to individual specification. Every exterior detail is designed as a reflection of the owner’s vision.

PERFORMANCE & SOUND.

Powered by the Mercedes-AMG 4.0-liter V8, the Cabrio-G delivers effortless performance while maintaining the refinement expected of a luxury grand touring SUV.

Clients may specify the optional Abushi Performance Package, increasing output to approximately 750 horsepower through proprietary Abushi ECU calibration and engineered performance upgrades. The package is complemented by the Abushi Active Performance Exhaust System with electronically controlled valves, allowing drivers to transition seamlessly between refined touring comfort and a more expressive performance sound.

WHEELS & SUSPENSION.

The Cabrio-G is engineered to perform with confidence across every environment. Standard specification features a refined 50 mm (2-inch) suspension lift, enhancing ground clearance while preserving exceptional ride quality and everyday drivability.

For clients seeking maximum off-road capability, Abushi offers the available Portal Axle Package, significantly increasing ground clearance while improving approach, departure, and breakover angles. Forged 22-inch monoblock wheels, finished in brushed aluminum with floating Abushi center caps, complete the vehicle’s commanding stance.

INTERIOR. BESPOKE IN MOTION.

Inside, the Cabrio-G presents a world of handcrafted luxury, featuring hand-selected leathers, precision stitching, and meticulously finished materials throughout the cabin.

Clients may choose between a traditional rear bench or the available Executive Rear Seating Package, featuring two individually adjustable lounge seats separated by a bespoke center console. The Executive Rear Seating Package includes reclining functionality, massage, heating, ventilation, and premium convenience features, creating a first-class travel experience. Carbon-fiber accents throughout the cabin, together with exclusive Abushi branding, reinforce the vehicle’s bespoke character while reflecting each client’s individual commission.
